Covid-19 Response to Tenants

We understand that no one wants to get behind on their rent payments and we want you to know that we want to work with you regarding your situation. If you have had your hours cut or have been laid off due to the pandemic, below is a list of things you will need to do and some things we will do to make this work for everyone.

  1. Put everything in writing including all Tenants names on the lease, your address, phone number(s), and what your circumstance is regarding paying your rent.
  2. You must provide proof of hours cut or layoff for each Tenant from your employer on their letterhead with employer contact information included.
  3. Send your response by email, but if you can’t, put all your information in an envelope and drop it through our night drop, because the office is not open to the public.
  4. You will not be charged any late fees.
  5. We will not waive any rent due unless approved by the Owner.
  6. We will send you a certified letter regarding your rent due. You must receive the certified letter from the post office so you can follow the instructions in the letter regarding your unpaid rent.
  7. The government has passed the bill for you to receive a stimulus check but we’re not sure when you will receive it. You should immediately file for unemployment and food stamps and see if there is any other help that you might qualify for.

We will do whatever we can, and is allowed by the Owner of your property, to help you through this time.
